THE OTHER IDEAS
After the release of 2017’s Alien: Covenant, the Alien franchise could have taken a number of different turns. Ridley Scott, the director of Alien, intended to make a direct sequel despite the fact that the movie wasn’t well-liked by audiences or critics but fared well at the box office ($240 million worldwide). an opportunity to complete the Alien prequel trilogy that he started with Prometheus and carried on with Alien: Covenant.
