Gunn confirmed in a tweet that he will write the book’s foreword. The director highlighted his passion for the less well-known DC Comics characters, who sparked his imagination as a child, in a lengthy statement that was included with a copy of the book. The 240-page book will feature a number of characters, including Arm-Fall-Off-Boy, Colonel Computron, and the Mod Gorilla Boss.
Earlier this year, Gunn and DC Studio co-CEO Peter Safran outlined the company’s ambitious schedule.
