This week is going to be so exciting! The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI was released a few days ago, and later today comes the 10th annual Game Awards, which will undoubtedly include some delicious surprises. GTA 6 MAP

Before we get too caught up in the excitement surrounding The Game Awards, though, we still have a few hours to finish our analysis of the GTA VI trailer. The developers have confirmed that the trailer’s graphics are from in-engine footage, which will match the quality of the final game. Fans are blown away by the trailer’s graphics, and it appears that GTA VI will launch initially on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a PC version following later. There are a ton of hidden details in the trailer, which fortunately for you, we have been going through them meticulously. Today, however, I bring you a nugget that was discovered by an astute fan.

We see Jason operating a vehicle in the trailer. Reddit user whosthesixth noticed a Vice City landmark in the distance and commented on the site, saying, “This shows how vast the map will be. Vice City is all the way out there.” Considering how eager we are to see how big the map is, this is a very wise observation.

The user prophet_tehenhauin wrote, “Man, I can not wait to drive around on this map with a motorcycle and the radio blasting.” Shentchami added, “Yeah this is actually insane. Can not wait for this game to drop. Just exploring for hours and hours before even entering the story mode. I am so hyped.” Poudy24 commented, “Damn, it is crazy how good people are at spotting small details like this.

I literally watched the trailer like 15 times, stopping frame by frame to analyze everything, and then I come here and I see a bunch of details I had not seen at all. Like, I even missed the TV tower at the beginning, somehow. Cool find! The map looks huge.”

Because GTA VI accurately captures the state, fans who reside there are already referring to the game as “Florida: The Game.”

The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI has finally surfaced after a ten-year wait. Although the original release date was pushed back due to a leak, the trailer was eventually released today. Based on the 91 seconds of footage that are currently available, GTA VI may be the most visually stunning game ever made. Fans are praising the game already,

especially the fact that the franchise has not lost its sense of humor. Jason and Lucia are confirmed to be our two main protagonists, and the game is indeed set in Vice City, a real-life Miami, Florida. As suggested by the leaks, GTA VI is set in Vice City, a real-world Miami, Florida. The developers clearly did their homework.

I can not say I have been to Florida to verify whether these are indeed typical shenanigans, but I can accept that Florida has a lot of gators, so I will accept it. Fans gathered over on Reddit to discuss how uncanny the depiction of Florida is. “Florida: The Game, and in the best possible way,” joked Reddit user inaccurateTempedesc. Triftxy added, “I like how the trailer includes typical Florida shenanigans like an alligator in a pool or a guy jumping on top of his moving car or a girl on top of a car in a highway.”

Providing an alternative viewpoint, whatnameisnttaken098 stated, “As someone who has driven through Miami a handful of times for work, I can not wait to take a rocket launcher to traffic.” Drastic measures but traffic can be awful. InspiredSquish wrote, “As a Floridian, this game is literally every other Tuesday for me.”

Although GTA VI’s price has not been revealed, industry experts are optimistic that it will be significantly more affordable than what leakers first claimed. Regretfully, the game is not initially expected to launch on PC; only the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 have been confirmed as platforms.

I can not contain my enthusiasm as we are just one day away from Rockstar Games releasing the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 5, at 2pm GMT / 9am EST, the curtain will finally come down on what may be the most anticipated game ever.

There are rumors that GTA VI might be a timed PS5 exclusive, but I would take those, like with all rumors, with a huge pinch of salt. Over the weekend, we got our supposed first look at the game’s world after footage was reportedly leaked by one Rockstar dev’s son. Just think of the sales records it will also absolutely smash when it eventually releases. Just because we are getting a trailer does not mean the game will definitely be released anytime soon.

In fact, fans believe they have decoded the launch date, and it is quite a ways off.

The fan-made map ended up looking very similar to the finished official Rockstar product, so while I would advise you to take this map with a pinch of salt, it is likely to share plenty of similarities with the real deal. The map was posted by Twitter user GTASixInfo. It is important to note that this is not an official map; rather, it is a mock-up created by fans based on all the leaks viewed thus far. A similar activity took place in the lead-up to GTA V.

Though there are a few other urban hubs for us to explore, like Port Gelhorn and The Keys, Vice City has long been rumored to be the main setting of Grand Theft Auto VI; this seems to be confirmed by the palm trees seen in the game’s trailer date announcement post. Perhaps most intriguingly, though, is that fans seem to believe that the Bermuda Triangle might appear in the game. That is not impossible, I suppose.

The world event file name “Bermuda Triangle – Submarine” was sourced from last year’s massive leak, so it is really rather likely. Hopefully, tomorrow’s teaser will give us an idea of the breadth of this world.

A user had expressed to the Grand Theft Auto community in a since-deleted Reddit post titled “You guys need to relax a little” that fans were becoming overly excited about the upcoming GTA VI trailer and that people’s lives were starting to revolve around it. Moderators took down the post, but not before other users shared their opinions about the trailer and the fervent fan base that is anticipating the game’s official release.

One user is just happy to have another Grand Theft Auto game: “This might sound a bit cringe, but I do not want to imagine a world where GTA VI does not exist lol. I would not say that my life revolves around the game or I could not live without it, but GTA games have always been very close to my heart.” Others agree that some community members “are definitely being cringe about it but this does not happen often. It is not going to happen again any time soon.” They are right, of course.

It is not often that a game this monumental comes along. Even blockbuster Nintendo titles or Sony first-party games do not really garner this much fanfare.

GTA VI will soon be here, and for many, this is the biggest launch they have seen in the hobby, particularly for younger players. It is been 10 years since GTA V launched. For some, this is their first GTA launch, excitement is warranted. A few people agree that some are going a little over the top with their posting on the subreddit. However, many others are being bold and saying things like, “For a lot of people, this will probably be the last GTA they play in their lives.”

You might think that being this close to the GTA VI trailer, we are free of leaks. Nope. Over the weekend, we supposedly got our first look at the game’s map, allegedly leaked by one Rockstar dev’s son. But let us hop back to that live trailer page and find out how you can join in. The trailer is scheduled to premiere tomorrow, on December 5, at 2pm GMT / 9am ET. This will give us our first official look at what might just be the most anticipated game of all time.
