Saw X

SUMMARY

  • Saw X continues the franchise’s reputation for gory conclusions.
  • Jigsaw is in charge even when it appears that he is not.
  • The conclusion of Saw X fills in plot holes from the previous movies.

The twisted nature of the games that John Kramer (Tobin Bell) plays is one of the Saw franchise’s key draws. Despite the fact that many people consider him to be a hero, Jigsaw is about as nasty as they come. His games are all about blood and gore, regardless of how he positions himself as a vigilante or “life coach” who helps test individuals and get them back on track.

As a link between the first two films, Saw X is no different. Kramer is unhappy because he believes he was duped by a group of people who claimed to have a miraculous treatment for his brain disease. He ultimately captures them in the Mexican hospital, where they pretended to get surgery, ready to exact revenge or change their lives. It leads to a gory conclusion as Jigsaw demonstrates that even when he is not in charge, he can adapt and change course.

Cecilia is found by Saw X torturing Jigsaw and Amanda.

The group is put through a series of games, and almost everyone loses. Except for Gabriela, a young woman, and Diego, the taxi driver who persuaded Kramer to go to the procedure. Yet, they are not involved in the conclusion, which leads to a confrontation between Kramer and his apprentice and the remaining two, Cecilia and Parker.

Jigsaw and Amanda believed they would have more time to torment Cecilia, but they were unaware that Parker was a con artist. He pretended to be a patient they were operating on before turning on Kramer and Amanda with his revolver.

Gabriela, who barely made it through her exam against a radiation machine, is tragically murdered by Cecilia. As there will be one less share available when she recovers the fraud money Kramer stole, Cecilia views this as justice. The man had hoped to return it to everyone Cecilia had deceived with her fictitious cure, but Cecilia had other plans.

To prove to Kramer that his games have repercussions, Cecilia ends up snatching Carlos, a young boy who lives next door. She ties Carlos and Kramer to a machine that uses blood to simulate waterboarding. A bound Amanda screams in protest because she despises how Gabriela, a fellow addict, was denied a second chance and how the boy is making up for their transgressions.

Yet when Cecilia and Parker attempt to steal the money from the control room and go, a major twist occurs. They are ultimately imprisoned, and Jigsaw’s recording shows that he foresaw their avaricious behavior. Carlos’ entrance threw off the plans, but he always made allowances for them to do this. Kramer had anticipated that he and Amanda would be involved in the bloodboarding, but they manage to get away with the child and play the ultimate game they had foreseen would take place.

Parker and Cecilia engage in a life-or-death duel in Sax X.

Parker was forewarned by Jigsaw that Cecilia would turn against him, and she is now powerless in this death room. It is filled with corrosive gas, but there is just one vent where a human can pop their head out and breathe. Parker and Cecilia fight as a result, and Cecilia stabs Parker, leaving his body to melt away in the gas. Cecilia survives despite having severe facial scarring. As Jigsaw and Amanda leave, she yells at them. As a reward for his perseverance during the bloodboarding and for helping to keep Jigsaw alive, they give Carlos the cash.

Since the room is still filled with gas and Cecilia is unable to escape, it appears like Kramer will continue to punish her by keeping her there indefinitely. Because Cecilia punished Gabriela for winning, she breached a fundamental norm, but Kramer doesn’t care. Additionally, she killed people without hesitation if doing so would help her win a game or escape. Jigsaw tortured Diego earlier and obtained all the information, which is how he learned about Cecilia and Parker.

It explains how he was able to precisely prepare everything, get Amanda to leave Cecilia’s phone in the house, and gently prod her into phoning Parker. When Amanda first knocked Parker out, Jigsaw even took Parker’s bullets away to set up the game. They admit that they had no idea Carlos would show up with his football, but Jigsaw made the most of Cecilia and Parker’s frugal personalities.

That demonstrates his claim that those who are preoccupied with little matters will always be susceptible to manipulation. Amanda learns a significant final lesson about the depraved nature of people. She nevertheless departs with John and the boy as the sun rises, relieved that they have now gotten rid of this gang of thieves in the filler scene for Saw 1 and 2.

The conclusion of Saw X shows why Amanda would betray Jigsaw.

Now, Amanda would fully take over as Jigsaw’s replacement in Saw III. She rigged the games there, though, so that no one could ever get away. It infuriated Jigsaw because he still upheld moral principles. He didn’t like Amanda violating their sense of justice when it came to a fair chance. Both would pass away in that movie, leaving Mark Hofmann, the detective, to take over later on, which made for a depressing conclusion. Ironically, Mark would assist Jigsaw in finding people in Saw X while Amanda committed the kidnappings.

This film confirmed she wasn’t prepared to assume the role, nevertheless. She made an effort to assist Gabriela by demoting her due to her own experience as a drug addict. Kramer was, however, duped by Gabriela into believing the cure had made her feel better. He was adamant that she would pay for the hoax because of this. Regrettably, a part of Amanda secretly continued to think that humanity had no hope when a battered Gabriela was killed by a Cecilia who then put Carlos in jeopardy.

Yes, Amanda made it through her game, gained knowledge, and consented to Kramer’s second opportunity. Nonetheless, the majority of individuals would always act selfishly. This lays the groundwork for her to interfere with Jigsaw’s fundamental principles and regulations. In the end, Saw X becomes an origin story for Amanda, explaining in detail their relationship with a dying Kramer as well as the reasons behind Amanda’s inability to forgive criminals in society.

In theaters currently is Saw X.
